The text in this book is based on the Apache “Changing Woman” myth. Changing Woman, or White Painted Woman is a creatrix, teacher, giver of long life and model of human and particularly female behaviour.

This book has a text block of 9 boards, each with an illustration on watercolor paper painting on one side and text on the other. The images digitally output and handcolored from original paintings by Alicia Bailey. Covers are laser etched, gilded and painted wood. All are bound in coptic across the spine.
