Forest Foraging

This piece documents two trips taken in 2017 - one to the Ashley National Forest in Utah, August 2018, the other to the Hoh Rainforest in Washington, September 2018. I was struck by the qualitative differences of the quietness found in forests, as well as the more obvious differences in the types of plant and animal life found in each. Pondering the similarities and differences is what prompted the creation of this work.
