Pages from my great Aunt Ruth's biology notebook from her days as a student at Kansas State University provide the base for surface applied marks, text, metal leaf and collage. Three rigid pages are bound into two covers via steel rods in a technique learned from Daniel Kelm. Covers have window cut outs that reveal both the book title and some of the first page.
