One of a series of four books I created while a resident at Centrum, in Port Townsend, Washington. I arrived at the residency and, in a beautiful and spacious second story studio, made books using only the materials either left behind by previous residents, or gathered during my thrice daily ramblings.
from Heidi Zednik's unpublished poem "Skinning Blue" she steps back . . . another step . . . another. she goes backwards over the edge. no screams. a fossil is found in her pocket. shells spiralling around and round to center stop.
