Safe as Houses - Entrance

This book pairs portions of Betty Adcock’s poem
To Sylvia, Grown Daughter with 9 paintings by
Alicia Bailey. Adcock’s writing describes the ‘house of your first name’ and details points of access to that house (ordinary love, fury, or any dying).

This second editioned book in the Safe as Houses
series is color laser printed on Mohawk Superfine text. An arch-shaped wooden door becomes the lid of
the box the book is housed in. Bound in board
style with exposed spine. Eighteen pages with
9 double spread illustrations.
